MarshBerry: US broker M&A down 23% YTD but valuations continue to rise
US insurance brokerage M&A activity has remained robust so far this year despite the global economic turbulence, and while deal volume was down almost a quarter year on year, average valuation multiples increased once again, new data from MarshBerry shows.
